Strange moon on December 15 2010 at 10 pm in Lahti Finland
The moon had two strange light circles around it yesterday evening.
I took a few photos, all within 2-3 minutes. My camera is an
old Sony Digital Mavica using 3,5" 1.44 Mb disks...
The first photo is quite different from the rest, see the stars (???) around the moon,
the other photos have no stars near the moon. The light circles can not be seen in all the photos even though they were
quite clear in the night sky.
What makes this still more astonishing is the fact that the stars below the moon are all in different colors
when the disk is in my Sony camera. The colors from left to right are blue, red, green, red and green, the star
above the moon is blue. The stripes on the moon surface are branches of a tree.
